1...Rooting your Gionee p4.

Here  download kingroot
Open and install...Click on the big circle

Wait for the process to be completed.
And you will have this

That's it...your phone is rooted...

2. Flashing custom recovery...

Download mobile uncle tools here from google play store

Or direct download from here

Download twrp from here

I prefer twrp to cwm....it has more advanced features...
Flash via mobile uncle...
Download Download and rename it to recovery.IMG and place it in your sdcard root folder..

Goto mobile uncle... Click on update recovery... There u will find your already downloaded recovery..

Flash it from there.. And there you go... Once finished it will prompt you to boot into recovery and yes its done.

3.custom ROMs..

Its easy flashing roms ... Boot into recovery mode.  Clear cache..wipe dalvic cache and there you go..
Volume up and down to scroll..
Power key to select...
Scroll to install zip from SD card and locate your already downloaded ROM..
Flash from there.

4..custom ROMs..
