TRANSFER CONTACTS FROM BLACKBERRY TO AN ANDROID PHONE THE EASIEST WAY

Transferring of phone contacts from a BB phone to an Android phone has gotten lot easier, without any tool you can transfer your contacts via Bluetooth to any Android device.

From your Blackberry phone in settings under network and connection, goto Bluetooth and turn it ON.

Press the blackberry menu key and select the Add Device from the options, this will search for any available devices within the range, once it shows your Android phone as the available device, pair them together to communicate.

Under your list of devices in Bluetooth settings, Find your android device and press the Menu key over it…

From the list of options you will see Transfer Contacts; it will search to make sure the Android’s Bluetooth is turned on. On your Android phone accept the connection and within seconds your contacts will be saved in your Android phone in a file less than 50kb in size…

From your android phone open your favorite file manager like ES File Manager, find the Bluetooth folder or the received files folder, you will see a VCF file named contacts.vcf, click on it and your phonebook application will open, asking you if you want to add the contacts to your phone. You can also use the same file in your Windows Phone, PC, iPhone and some Nokia phones…

The final stage is to allow it to add the contacts; all the contacts from your BB will then be copied to your android phone.

Another sure means is to add a Google Account to your blackberry phone, while adding Your Gmail it will show you what to sync between the phone and your Google account, select contacts and calendar which are by default marked… That way all your contacts will be Backed up to your Google account (gmail.com), you will never worry about losing your contacts… All your contacts will be synced with all your devices connected to the same Google account…
